The Cerritos College Plastics Department was established in 1974. The department offers 'hands-on' training and development with the latest state-of-the-art technology for those who are 'new' to the technology as well as 'experienced' professionals who want to broaden their knowledge, and remain competitive in a world-wide business environment.

The program's goal is to provide both men and women with the skills to succeed ina changing industry, through proven techniques in manufacturing methods, problem solving, waste management, quality control and cost analysis.
