The
Metallurgy and Materials Science Department is a well established
facility designed to serve the needs of those who are "new" to the
technology as well as "experienced" professionals who wish to broaden
their knowledge, keep pace with the latest trends in the industry,
and remain competitive in a world-wide business environment. The
department features training for both men and women in the fields
of Metallurgy and Materials Science.
Cerritos
College is preparing the material scientists and technicians of
the future with the state-of-the-art facility which offers "hands-on"
instruction in basic andadvanced ferrous and nonferrous Metallurgy,
Ferrous and Nonferous Heat Treat, Laboratory Procedures, welding
Metallurgy, as well as Nondestructive Testing and Quality Courses.
The
Metallurgy Department can customize an "on and off-site" training
program to meet your company's needs.
